Q + A

Where can I stay?

We weren't able to secure room blocks due to this weekend being Cornell University's orientation but there are plenty of hotels in downtown Ithaca to choose from. We recommend booking as soon as possible as rooms will likely fill up quickly. Please see the Travel section for more information on hotel options.

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Although we adore your children, we’ve elected to limit our ceremony and reception to adults only. The only children that will be at our wedding are those in the wedding party.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

If you would like to bring a guest we would love to have them, just please indicate you are bringing someone on your RSVP!

How do I RSVP?

All RSVPs will be done online through our website, which will become available once the formal invitations are sent by mail. The deadline to RSVP is July 1st, 2025.

How do I get to and from the venue?

A shuttle will depart from downtown Ithaca/Ithaca Commons area at 4:30 PM to take guests to the venue in Trumansburg. Return shuttles will run throughout the evening to bring guests back to the downtown Ithaca hotel area.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 5pm to enjoy cocktails and conversation before the ceremony starts promptly at 5:30pm.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, there is ample parking available on-site if you’d like to drive. However, we will also have a shuttle service to and from the hotels in downtown Ithaca. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are generally available for transportation to the venue if you prefer, but please keep in mind that finding a driver for the return trip can be challenging in the late evening hours.

What time does the reception end?

The reception will wrap up at 11:30pm however, those who wish to keep the party going are welcome to join us for an after-party hosted at the bride and groom's guest house located across the street from the reception.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors on grass. The reception will be held in an adjacent space under a tented area with stone flooring. No significant amount of walking will be required, and the venue is handicap-accessible.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

For the ceremony and reception, formal attire is requested. For those attending the rehearsal dinner and welcome party, cocktail attire is appreciated.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

During the ceremony, we request that you be present in our special moment and please leave the photography and videography to the professionals. Throughout the reception feel free to snap and post away.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with an entree choice of vegetarian, fish, or chicken. Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the RSVP and we will be sure to accommodate you.

Is there a wedding registry?

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but should you wish to give us something more tangible, a monetary gift to put towards our future would be greatly appreciated. Please consider using our cash registry from this website, bringing a card to the wedding, or if you prefer, simply using Venmo @stefstemp or @kvinokur
